Assoc. Prof. Gökhan İnce

Assoc. Prof. Gökhan İnce is the co-founder and co-director of CRAFT Lab. His research bridges computer engineering, human-centered artificial intelligence, interactive technologies, and intelligent sensing systems. Within CRAFT Lab, he contributes to the development of AI-supported, human-centered and transformative learning technologies by bringing expertise in human-computer interaction, multimodal sensor fusion, affective computing, wearable technologies, augmented reality, robotics, and brain-computer interfaces.

His work supports the lab’s mission of transforming advanced computational systems into usable, ethical, and meaningful technologies for future education, learning analytics, immersive learning, and digitally enhanced human experience. He is also the founder/director of the User Experience Laboratory and co-founder/director of the Soft Sensors Laboratory at Istanbul Technical University.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Delen is the co-founder and co-director of CRAFT Lab, Center for Research on AI, Future Education, and Transformative Technologies. His research focuses on artificial intelligence in education, design-based pedagogy, STEM education, learning analytics, and technology-enhanced learning.

Within CRAFT Lab, he leads interdisciplinary work that connects evidence-based educational practices with emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions for teaching, assessment, teacher professional development, and future learning environments. His work strengthens the lab’s mission of creating ethical, meaningful, and research-informed AI-supported learning systems.

He also serves as the associate editor of the Journal of Research in Science Teaching.
